Sonnen Reportedly Loses Real Estate License
It was reported by ESPN.com that UFC fighter Chael Sonnen is getting his Oregon real estate license revoked. He plead guilty to charges stemming from alleged mortgage fraud and money laundering in connection to past real estate deals. That is really sad that not only is his UFC contract frozen, but he is now unable to earn income relating to real estate sales. Here's to hoping he gets bailed out with income opportunities sooner than later!

What's up with my UFC main man?
I can't believe my favorite UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen, plead guilty to money laundering charges recently. Thank goodness he won't be spending any time in jail (hopefully). It looks like he'll be facing probation for approximately 2 years or so. I can not wait to see him get back in there against Andersen Silva and finish that job he started last time.

Should've Called a Bail Bondsman!
There was a ton of arrests of over the holiday weekend. Many arrestees were told to wait overnight and see a judge the very next day and they'd probably just be released on their "own recognizance" without needing to post bail. Dumb move. Many just spent needless hours waiting for the "get out of jail free" card that never came. They should have just called a bail bonds company right when they had a chance. They would not have sat there needlessly for so long!

Happy New Year Las Vegas!

First and foremost be safe out there tonight (and for the rest of the holiday weekend for that matter). The word is that tonight, police will be out in full-force and have little tolerance for misbehavior. That's not to say, folks won't be able to let loose at all the parties, downtown, and outdoor Las Vegas Strip activities. Just use your heads though. If you have any bail bonds las vegas questions, please feel free to call us anytime this holiday weekend-----we are adequately staffed to service everyone easily. No question is a dumb one and we love giving free bail information and advice with a smile!
Happy New Year everyone and here's to an even better 2011!

Bail Bonds Updates
Rumorville: Sources tell us that a bail bondsman who was arrested in a murder-for-hire scheme (which thankfully was never fully executed) is now running for mayor. Keep in mind most agents in the Las Vegas bail bonds industry are not like this. This is not so strange for a town like this considering the mayoral history we've had here. Each of the (in my opinion) questionable mayors we've had have actually turned out ok. Thank goodness.

Why are would-be criminals being released for FREE?
That's right.....Pretrial release programs are taking folks arrested, who can otherwise afford to bail themselves out, and releasing them on your tax payer dime! Mind you, they are being released without securing a bail bonds through a bondsman who can ensure the public their appearance in court. These O.R.s (know as releases inmates' "own recognizance") are being handed out like candy by your local major detention facility. So the next time you think Las Vegas law enforcement is really being diligent in getting "drunk" drivers off the streets, just know that that drunk is likely to be booked into jail for about 12 hours and then cut loose on his or her "promise" to come back to court.
